What to Expect

We understand that visiting a new church can be a little nerve-racking. Heritage Church provides a place where gospel community can flourish. To help you know what to expect, below are a few points that may interest you as seek to find community within a church.

Sunday School

At Heritage, the Sunday School provides a place where people can study Scripture in a small group setting with capable teachers, and learn how to apply biblical principles to their lives. Sunday School is from 9:30-10:35 a.m.

Sunday Morning Worship

Our weekly Sunday morning service provides an opportunity to praise God through song, community, and the study of Scripture. The pastor will spend roughly 45 minutes sharing God’s word through thought-provoking messages directly from the Bible. This weekly time of worship is from 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. every Sunday morning.

Wednesday Night Activities

The Wednesday night weekly routine happens from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and includes Bible study groups for men & women, college & career,  youth group for 7th - 12th graders, RAs for 1st - 6th grade boys, Keepers for 1st - 6th grade girls, and nursery for the littlest ones.  

Life Groups

Heritage Life Groups are full of the people you can laugh, grow, serve, and do life with. Life Groups meet at various times and locations throughout the month and you can find a list of current groups, their meeting times and locations here.

Anything I should know about the “style?”

The music is a blend of contemporary and traditional but focusing on singing things that are true about God and beneficial for His people. The typical instruments used are guitar and piano. Dress runs the gamut, though you’ll likely see more dress casual than coat and tie.
